STATISTICS
Every being is capable of physical output through their very muscles and their very will. For what they are capable of doing, there is always a limit and there is usually someone better than you. There is no doubt about that. This page covers a character's statistics. The numbers here are a range of what rank they are to be considered to be in. Supposedly, one would think this is pretty much like the statistics table of a MMO character. The numbers here are to be considered to be where you exactly are in terms of specific stats, how much further one can go, and to compare who is weaker or stronger to the other. The letter ranks here also serves as a limiter of how far you can improve your character stats and as well as broadly categorizing where you are in the spectrum. When creating characters, you generally are only able to spend points up to 5 in each stat. The starting letter rank will depend on what kind of race the character is. Do remember that depending on your race, there is a point where you can no longer advance because there are specific limits. That said, take a look at the charts and judge accordingly.
Strength: How much power are you capable of mustering from your muscles? Exactly how much damage can you deal out with your strikes? The amount of output of power is what allows some characters to wield larger weapons with such ease. This is one of the stats that "tanky" characters should focus on.
- N/A: The complete average joe of a human. Anything a human can do without any regular or rigorous exercise. They're the lowest of the low possible, unless there is a special condition that further restricts any potency.
- F: The category in which the realm of humans still applies. Your average joe has become someone who actually does something. A hobbyist martial artist who practices a few hours for every couple of days in a week. Or maybe someone who works out lightly in a gym for the same amount of time. However, their punches are nothing special as they still fit in with the "every day" spectrum. Meaning this is still fairly common.
- E: Pretty much considered average on the not-so-human scale. Many supernatural creatures are already of this tier. Individuals of this level are a few times stronger than the average human because they had peak training. Punches from this level is like being punched by a pro-MMA fighter.
- D: The level the supernatural is being reached in scale. Only less than 1% of humans can reach such strength if they are unaided by equipment or other artificial means, making this the highest peak humanity could reach if they could at all on their own. However, this is still nothing much compared to other supernatural entities. At this point, it's possible to snap trees or other such levels of destruction. Thus allowing them to easily break bones.
- C: It is becoming very clear that monsters of this level are becoming more of a dangerous threat to many supernatural factions. But they are not very hard to kill. However, some precaution should be taken when dealing someone of such power. That does goes without saying for the rest of the tiers. At this point, it's not so hard to flip cars. Somewhat.
- B: The level where this kind of strength is to be respected as it is very difficult to get to this level. Many people would rather avoid trying to irritate anyone with this much brawn. Not a lot would come out in one piece. Destroying apartments completely would not be outside the realm of possibility.
- A: Anyone with this much strength make anything seem effortless as long as it includes using brawn for it. Several floors of a department building would find themselves in wreckage as if a tornado was rampaging around. These are seriously not the kinds of individuals you wish to gain the attention of.
- S: Such strength that cannot be attained by even supernaturals. But yet, there are a number that exist to take their rightful place on this tier. They have surpassed the boundaries of their limits as beings originating from the physical realm.
Endurance: This is your "stamina" and "toughness" factor. It is how long you are able to continue doing something for any determined amount of time before you experience fatigue or cross the threshold into the failure of your task. This also includes how much physical and/or mental abuse your character's body can take before simply giving out and refusing to "listen" to your commands, pain thresholds, etc. Another stat for "tanky" characters.
- N/A: The toughness of ordinary people with no forms of hardship or training. These are the type of people who could go down very quickly or would not be able to last very long in physically exerting activities. Could run half a mile and is not used to pain.
- F: The average joe has become tougher as he becomes more physically active. Has recently or for some time have taken up a class in martial arts or sports. This is the level of hobbyists and does who do it for just the sake of health. These people can take a few normal punches of the same rank and run a few miles at once.
- E: The average toughness that is common within professionally trained people. They have gone through enough training to work in the professional world. Soldiers commonly are at of this kind of constitution. Such people can take a few wounds and manage to keep themselves going if needed. However, it would not be for long. Can take E rank damage and keep fighting while also running in a marathon without stopping.
- D: Toughness that is most difficult to reach for humans as nearly less than 1% if they are unaided by equipment and other means.. Needless to say, this is the peak level. Most Mystic Kind will find themselves here, but it's possible for them to be weaker than this rank. For this kind of toughness here, can shrug off E rank blows, some stab wounds depending how dire, and run in a professional marathon.
- C: The toughness where the realm of what is physically possible through normal standards is left behind. Their toughness is compared to an elephants and may even keep going in any physical activity for a day without ceasing once. Bullets may hit and would cause pain, but they are still are capable of ignoring it and keep fighting. One would need a very powerful gun, perhaps an elephant gun to take them down. F rank humans would not be able to do anything to them at all without any necessary aid.
- B: Endurance nearing invulnerability. While the lower rank of Endurance is when humans could not reach easily, this is the rank where one could call that individual a freakish monster for being able to survive the punishment it experiences. Monsters like these can keep going for days without rest or sleep. Or even walk away from a direct hit of HE Shell.
- A: The terminator rank. While it is possible to deal damage, they would ignore the pain associated with it. These "terminators' may have their bodies burnt away by a B rank spell, but they would keep moving on despite it out of sheer willpower even if they have half a body. Especially when it's just a head left, in which they'll just use their tongue to move around. Such people rarely ever feel pain and could keep going almost as if they are running on limitless energy.
- S: Many would call this one an "immortal". Perhaps they are right as their toughness is by many senses like a physical god. While not impossible to take down, it is still extremely difficult to do so. Even bordering on impossible for many.
Agility: As a stat, this is a measure of a great many things: Agility can include everything from the simple running speed and dexterity of your character, to more complex concepts like reaction time and precise manipulation of your body's movements. Pole-vaulting, running up walls, the ability to dodge or parry, precise swordsmanship, and using speed techniques. A stat for characters who want to be like Speedy Gonzalez.
- N/A: Speed comparable to a turtle to those on top of the scale of velocity. The average joe is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to running. Since they do not move around much, they are not exactly the fastest around either.
- F: The realm of humans, but also covers those with some daily training. However the intensity is not enough on the professional level. In fact, these are the speeds of someone who just train for health and possibly for part of their hobby martial arts training. They are at least faster than sedentary folks in their couches.
- E: Speedsters of this level are rightfully to be considered fairly fast. At least on the human level. They can easily catch up to a low end car on local speeds (25 MPH). But they've got a long way to go to become the fastest since there's people that are considered "Speed Devils". They can at least evade N/A levels with ease.
- D: Capable of reaching speed of 35 MPH. This is a bit over the usual speed limit within parts of cities. Such speed is disturbing and difficult to deal with for the realm of mortals. But not completely impossible. They also have reflexes that F rank people can barely land a blow.
- C: Individuals of this level are considered to be super-human in speed. They're able to catch up vehicles up to 45 MPH, almost nearing highway speeds. Then again, the last two ranks would have been considered superhuman in their own right. But this is the point where speed is becoming even more noticeable. They can catch arrows while E rank characters have difficulty even trying to land attacks on them, just barely connecting.
- B: These creatures can reach at least 55 MPH and even higher. The realm of some of the more faster monsters around. This is considered the norm for many werewolves. Or so many claim. This kind of agility is something to behold and to fear. with some preparation, they can actually dodge bullets. D rank speeds would barely be able to land any attacks on them.
- A: The point where many in the supernatural realm would call a "speed demon". Such "demons" can reach a velocity of 65 MPH. No one would want to deal with anyone this fast. And certainly could easily win many supernatural running contests with relative ease. They can move faster than the human eye can track at all in bursts.
- S: Creatures of speed that many could claim to be the fastest around from the physical realm. They have broken the boundaries of what is considered fast for a living being with legs attached. Speeds of 75 MPH or even higher for monsters of such level. Some may compare them to the Flash.
Od/Mana/Ki/Faith: The spiritual energy that is in the environment and in the body. Also known as life energy. Od is an internal source inside of the body. Mana is the external source outside of the body and in the environment around the individual. Ki is a term that covers both Od and Mana, but it is usually referred to Od. Western native Ki Art Styles use the terms Mana and Od than Ki. Faith is the same when covering the Rites (which relies on Mana) and the techniques of their Styles (which relies on Od), but has no leanings on referring to either Od or Mana like Ki.
- N/a: Nothing is unlocked and may need to undergo some form of training in order to do so.
- F: 10 units. Recently have made the first milestone of one's power. It still requires more training to keep up with the best and the distance from here to there is extremely long. However, it is not possible if one commits themselves. This is enough to throw a couple of spells or techniques, but not much.
- E: 20 units. Progress is being made and yet, still so far away from becoming notable. The level of an initiate improving. However, they are becoming very close to reaching the level of becoming noted as "competent". The will to further oneself is important here. It is now possible to use more techniques and spells.
- D: 30 units. Training is starting to pay off. Now you're more capable of sustaining difficult spells and/or techniques, especially for some of the more higher ranked ones. But you're still not quite there where you'd be considered "reliable". However, the results are really starting to show.
- C: 40 units. The point where people around will start to take you seriously. The level of Ki Artist Senior Disciples, an ordained Knight Clergyman, and a Professor/Executor Magician. Such prowess will make it difficult to deal with for lower ranked enemies as these capable units can use more powerful techniques and spells. It is also very difficult to reach past this rank and many tend to stay down here.
- B: 50 units. The level of where one could be called a "Master" in the amount of energy they're capable of wielding. It is considerable and definitely something to practice caution against. This is the tier where not many people can reach, most would stop at C. It requires ever more talent and even training to get here.
- A: 60 units. Limits are slowly starting to be broken. One could start regarding you as a nearly unstoppable force as you're capable of performing equally as powerful techniques and spells. Lesser enemies that don't come close to you are easily likened to be mere pests.
- S: 70 units. One could call you a "demon" or even a "monster" at the extent that you've become powerful. While the supernatural defies all logic, reaching this rank also defies this logic as well. The repertoire of spells and techniques in your arsenal would be unimaginable and fearsome to many.
Limitations: Some races will have limitations as to how far they can go in increasing stats. Do check Profile Information pages for each Race and Faction to see how far they will go.
